finally a workstation that does WORK

 

i render 4k 60hz and 144p 144hz video for clients,and even on this dated machine its still fast enough to meet strict deadlines. i upgraded mine to pack dual x5460's,32gb of ram,a quadro fx 4800,and a tesla m1060,but a good chunk (about 20%) of my work...

Best deal I have found yet for this particular PC! It has a "new feel" when you open up the box. No concerns. Fans all ran quiet. No marks or dents. No hardware issues, no missing drivers, no blue screen of death - just a good PC! Runs warm, will have...

The PC wasn't necessarily what the ad said - I was expecting dual processors and a 1GB hd. What I received was a better single processor and a 2GB hd. I went ahead and got another processor and heat s. for another $40. This PC was so clean it could...

Wasn't 100% what they said it was, but having a better HD made up for not having the extra processor. Didn't come with the Dell drivers CD but I might not need one anyway

I'm disappointed in Newegg's slow service on this as what was a Christmas present in now going to not be delivered until late January.

Good value and the system looked in good condition. I think the machine really should be 4 out of 5 but Newegg's service doesn't allow for that

Rock Solid Workstation

 

Highly recommend this system for high-end CAD use. Upgrading the graphics card to an FX4600 and RAM to 8GB made it more robust for handling large assembly modelling project.

Lots of power packed into smaller tower

 

This is probably one of the best built computers I've ever used. It is full featured and works like a dream using Vista 64 and Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 with a Matrox RTx2LE.

Very fast, quiet, solidly built, stable

Could use one or two more drive bays

16G and 32G RAM are not cheap

Best Price Performance

 

This machine would make a good gamer with the right graphics card. It's much lower noise level than the old PW-670 is very welcome.

Fast, Quiet, Stable

More internal drive bays would be nice, but not needed, (will be using external 1394 raid for video capture)
