Unstable Software

 

Great size for your desk. Fast scanning.

Worst organization software as it constantly crashing. If you scan more than 3-5 pages at a time the program crashes for analyzing to many scans. Also scanning to PDF instead of Neat format the software crashes after scan and never saves the PDF. Tried...

Does Scan Docs

 

Wish it still had the old software and worked like it used to. Does its job with multiple Docs on different sizes.

Scans multiple documents in multiple sizes. USB for direct connectivity. Has its own software for ease of backup and restore.

USED to have the ability to run in the system tray and not have the software open. NOW you have to have the full program running to use the scanner. DO NOT use in dirty environments. Will start messing up feeding. Get a beefier one for dirty environment.

I own a computer service business. This product lasted less than a year. Both live chat and phone support from NEAT are a joke. A section of the LED light is out, leaving a large area of the scan not usable. They insist it is a software issue even...

Scans fast. Good clarity

Scans pages fast

Software is a resource hog. When we scan 10 documents have to wait until process. Use other software scans are ready in seconds. Uninstalled software and purchased other software to scan. We are a medical facility and have to scan multiple file...

Neat Desk does not make Neat copies. Lot of dark areas 0n the sides. Tech support did not help. I will not recommend this scanner to any one

Just Perfect

 

This product was shipped out to me without software installation cd, scanner calibration paper and the quick start guide. Not very helpful with out these item. It is now just a big paper weight. I hope this will be heard since I don't want to wait...

Can scan documents, business cards and receipts.

Don't have any cons yet since I don't have the ability to use it.

DO NOT RELY ON NEAT

 

I can think of no pros that will over come the negatives.

1. This scanner only works with Neat software. Its a paperweight otherwise. 2. The desktop software that came with mine worked pretty well for me but I made the mistake of hitting the software update button before I realized that by doing so, I lost...

never ending reports

 

The Neat product seerves its purpose when all you want is to scan your receipts and documents.

Will accumulate receipts and documents forever. If you scan documents for three years, whenever you print reports, you will get totals for 3 years. I contacted Support and all I got was excuses. BAD investment.
