Can't find any cons so far

Awesome bang for the buck ; Has a front speaker pass through - if you don't have a sub out on the amp

Won't turn off with the rest of the stereo system (And the power button is on the bottom in the back of it) ; You want to put this thing under a table, looks good from front but has an ugly heatsink and amp on the back

Sounds very good as fill; silent off/on (can't hear relay unless you're really close); pleasantly tweakable integration with other components; even fits in a lower kitchen cabinet (neat experiment for doing dishes...hehe.)

For more critical listening, needs a tad of pillow stuffing and an internal brace (even a piece of broom handle works and worth the trouble); for organ contrabass, you only get a hint of the lowest register, but that's ok with me

For the price, this is one of the worst subwoofers you can get. For $130 you can get a Dayton Audio Sub-1200 which can hit down to 25Hz. Can you believe that this Sony sub can only get down to 35Hz?? (I've tested it) And it's super quiet and distorted...
