A solid aluminum chassis, comfortable custom key switches, and a nifty OLED mini-display set apart SteelSeries' Apex 7 TKL, our favorite tenkeyless gaming keyboard to date.
Durable aluminum body. Handy OLED mini-display with easy-to-use onboard menus. Snappy mechanical switches. Per-key-programmable RGB backlighting.
Loud key action, in Blue sample tested.
Bottom Line: A solid aluminum chassis, comfortable custom key switches, and a nifty OLED mini-display set apart SteelSeries' Apex 7 TKL, our favorite tenkeyless gaming keyboard to date.

SteelSeries offers an entire range of gaming products including keyboards, mice, headsets, controllers, and much more! Recently they introduced their Ghost Collection, which has the tagline "Built for performance. Designed to bring your RGB to the next...

Boasting a soft-touch wrist rest, OLED display, vibrant RGB lighting and fancy new mechanical switches (Apex Pro only) the Apex 7 and Apex Pro keyboards certainly present a clear argument, but do they...
+ Omnipoint Mechanical Switches are awesome (Apex Pro only) + Attractive RGB illumination + Magnetic wrist rest included + Incredibly sturdy frame + Available as tenkeyless +- OLED screen is fun but the use cases are limited
- Expensive - QX2 Red switches are noisy and lack any feel whatsoever (Apex 7 only) - Impossible to see the OLED screen most of the time - No macro keys
The Apex 7 and Apex Pro are both well thought out, properly engineered and worthy of the SteelSeries name, but the pricetag, particularly on the Apex 7, does make things a little trickier.

Kundenmeinung (currys.co.uk)
Very nice feeling switches. Good quality product with generally good supporting software.
The CPU + GPU temperature widget for the small screen does not work with AMD products which is very disappointing as it just turns the screen into a useless gimmick.
Kundenmeinung (currys.co.uk)
Good, well built, keyboard. Sturdy and long lasting.
The wristrest gets quite dirty and is semi-difficult to clean. When dust gets into the keyboard gaps, it's hard to get out.
Kundenmeinung (currys.co.uk)
the keyboard as a whole is amazingly well built and comfortable
Kundenmeinung (currys.co.uk)
Responsive Solid build quality Compact
I still couldn't get used to typing on it very well. My first mechanical keyboard so it might take a little bit more time. Its much louder than I thought. Accidental key press happens quite a lot due to sensitive red switches. OLED screen is pretty...

It’s feels great for gaming and general use. RGB is very cool.
I had to buy O rings to dampen the click sound. I would recommend getting some from Amazon if you buy this. As a first time mechanical kB buyer, I wasn’t aware of what the switch colour types meant. Research before you buy. Also get Tkl ( ten keys less...
