COUGAR KBC700-3IS

I bought this keyboard for the fully programmable keys and the aluminum build.

This product is garbage. I can't even express to you how disappointed I was. I've never been more frustrated with a piece of hardware. Ever, and I work in IT. The software is a joke, I had to restart the program at least ten times each time I went in...

Build looks and feels great... That's about it.

Setting up key shortcuts some times dosent work! Like setting the second half of the space bar as a space bar does not always work. Every once in a while my computer won't recognize it and I have to disconnect and reconnect. The stinking lights do NOT...

Cherry MX Blues are a pleasure to type on. Quick response makes a big difference when gaming. Rubber feet are well made

1) The keyboard is too small for my hands. (I have small hands and it's a chore to type on a keyboard this small. 2) The media keys do not work. 3) The keyboard lights flash on and off several times a day with no input. They have to be reset each time....

I paired the Cougar 700K Blue Switches (good for typing) with the wireless "real power hog" the Mad Katz RAT9. So, I don't look back! I am not a gamer but I like to take their stuff because exceeds my expectations for most common domestic desktop...

The delivery did very lousy job. The UPS brought the Cougar 700K with the original box exposed to the conditions all dusty. To open I had to disinfect it. I am having second thought to buy again from Newegg
