Kundenmeinung (newegg.com)

Performs admirably.

+ Small, efficient, low power drain. + USB ports on front and back. + No special tools needed, just a phillips screwdriver. + has HDMI and Display port. + Wifi plus 1 GB NIC.

- Had to assemble (Not a big deal, took 5 minutes) - Too small to effectively intimidate other machines. - No fresh lemon scent options.

Very quick, little computer

This is a beautiful, fast, easy computer. It's a thing that's very easy to love. However, it's much noisier than I expected. My wife has had the i5 version for about a year and it's totally silent. This one has a CPU fan that really gets to spinning...

Very fast, compact, easy

Much noisier than expected, power adapter the worst shape ever

Intel BOXNUC5I7RYH

Intel tech support was great trying to help me through the issues I had with BIOS upgrades and and loss of functionality, but ultimately this system was not ready for prime time when it was released. I will wait another 6 months and try one of their...

1) Excellent desktop computer replacement 2)Easy to assemble 3) Excellent design for portability or freeing up desk space 4) Utilizes 1866mhz RAM if added to system 5) Tech support through Intel is thorough (though a little slow at times)

1) Consistent, known, issues through entire product line. (do a search for "NUC won't turn on" and "NUC USB doesn't work") 2) Can be finicky with the brand of RAM you use ( also make sure to use 1.35v RAM) 3) The first two I received worked great for a...

Good Desktop Replacement

First, I'll start with the components I used. N82E16820148956 - Crucial MX200 M.2 500GB SATA 2 x N82E16820148733 - Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) OS - Debian Linux SID With these components, the NUC is about 2 times faster for...

1. Fast 2. Compact 3. Works with both M2 and 2.5" hard drives. 4. Bluetooth and Wifi included

1. Fan is audible. 2. Bluetooth and Wifi are soldered down.

Powerful Little Unit

I have worked both with the NUC and the BRIX from Gigabyte and, with this gen (based on Intel's 5th gen procs), I prefer the NUCs from Intel over the BRIX for a number of reasons. After putting each together I noticed the construction and layout of the...

Compact, Powerful, Easy Setup, Can Play Games

None, so far.

This PC died on me, and this is a common problem

Buy something else.

Ultra small and quiet, high performance for such a tiny size

It seems the Intel NUC PCs are just poorly-made or badly-designed or both. Search Google for Intel NUC won't turn on and you will find over 117,000 results. My particular NUC died over just over a month of use. It won't turn on at all, and now I'm...

Fantastic Server

30W peak power consumption makes my wallet happy. Probably going to buy another unit.

I bought this as a cheap power efficient server to replace a loud 1U in my closet. I've been running Xenserver on it since day 1 and it's been amazing. Zero performance issues, even running 4 VM's under decent load. Super cool and no noise. It's...

It uses a mini-hdmi connector and that wasn't mentioned in the newegg spec. Took an additional day to get up and running because I needed to buy an adapter.

Too many issues to warrant buying

Its a nice size and is pretty solid

IR does not work, bios access issues, really serious boot issues where it just won't pick up the boot device, strangely dependant on what TV or monitor its plugged into to actually work. Check the forums and you will see many people with these sorts of...

Perfect HTPC

As the device is available for longer, driver support in Linux distributions will become more common and thus an even easier setup for a novice user. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone looking to do HTPC, home compute, or even...

Small form factor, easy installation, and excellent BIOS functionality. Excellent power for the size and heat. I find the fan is never noticeable in ambient environment sounds, and even less when used in conjunction with home theater. SSD fits in the...

I had to use a later version of Ubuntu because drivers are not yet available for the Iris as of 07/12/2015. You need to get the fastest 1866 ram you can find. It is worth the small difference in price, but should still be noted. I would not recommend...

Tiny Beast

If you don't need a discrete graphics card, this tiny beast is perfect!

Tiny form factor, super quiet, does it all.
