I am returning this drive. The performance problems with the drive are too great.
This drive has bursts of speed followed by excessive lag. Windows 7 installed in less 30 minutes and the boot up process is as fast as expected but then it lags
This drive doesn't perform as expected, in fact the overall performance of this drive is worse than the original hdd I had in laptop. Speed comes in bursts. I would not purchase this drive again

I have a Dell Precision laptop I wanted to dual boot. I needed a SSD drive on budget, hence why bought I refurbished drive ; My situation is unique. I didn't want both Linux and Windows on the 120 GB SSD, and I didn't want to run Linux on the internal...

Great SSD
Speeds are good in AHCI mode, make sure to use that instead of IDE mode. (set it in bios)

Fast while it worked.
Worked well and had fast benchmark results when installed
Developed a bad sector within a month. Ran a thorough chkdsk and it worked well for another month. Then.. "no boot drive detected
