Sony Hi-MD Walkman MZNH600DKIT - Hi-MD recorder - silver

I dreamed of owning a MD player ever since grade 8, now four years later I finally got one and I have to honestly say I love it.

I was in the market for a hi-cap personal music player during the summer of '04. Of course the IPods were high on my short list, along with Dells, Creatives, etc... All fine systems but didn't want to spend over $200 buxs. I never gave MiniDisk players...

Like other sony minidisc players, great battery life, reasonably tough, better sound than my old MZ-NE410. A good entry-level HiMD player. But again, with the Sony audio products, why does it not do native mp3 playback?

This review will tell you why a man like me with around 600 CD's loves this Walkman format.
