A 17-incher that provides the resolution of a 19-incher

Pros: Picture quality, Max resolution the same as that of a 19-inch monitor

Cons: Problems in the HCR test, no DVI-D connector, not as appealing as a 19-inch widescreener

Is as advertised

 

My mother in law wanted an LCD for cheap, this was the solution. Picked it up on a sale one day at a decent price. She is older and doesn't really care about anything but size - so... problem solved

It's a flat panel monitor

Colors are washed out

why even bother with a "CON"

 

but it. if you dont need a huge moniter for video editing and you dont need a huge moniter for gaming, this one had a great resolution, picture, and a decent price tag, its under 200, but it seems expesnive for a 17"

Great, looks nice and glossy, high res, play games beautifully with my Nvidia 7300, not 1 dead pixel

expensive, but worth it

Was good then went bad....

 

Let's see how their customer service turns out...

The monitor was easy to set up and worked great for ~4 months

After 4 months, the monitor developed a vertical blue line on the screen. I reinstalled my old CRT and the line went away (not the graphics card). I'm totally annoyed with it since I have to deal with a warranty return

id buy more but need another person and address to get another 5 monitors.....remember once you know you...newegg! newegg rocks!

great monitor ordered 3 all 3 perfect no dead pixles ...liked it so much ordered 2 more to finish out rebate qty. limit

the only grip i have is the power button is a little bright ; but ill get over it :) .... u p s is slow and not a good shipping service i have had more long delays and misrouted packages with them than i ever had with f e d e x

No dead pixels. Good Colors . Picture is better than the one on my laptop

The Shipping label was pasted partially over the UPC & Serial Number Barcode Label. It was impossible to remove the shipping label with out tearing the underlying label. So I had to mail all of it with part of the cardboard

Can't Go Wrong

 

Just that Newegg delivers as promised.

If after ordering, the monitor arrives undamaged, you would be hard pressed to find anything negative to say about it. This is a classy monitor for the price and comparatively better than the competition in clarity resolution
