Decent Budget Monitor for gaming and movies

 

Speakers suck and I wish they just DIDNT put them on at all. Do people actually use the speakers? I dont care about them cuz I use sennhieser headphones 99% of the time but I feel they are a waste.

Crisp clear big. I use it for games and movies and I am no videophile but for the average person it is great. The X contrast setting is lame but as long as you dont have it on you get good quality imo

The stand is extremely unstable and cheap. I play a lot of RTS and when I am boxing units the monitor wiggles. It is very annoying and I have to put a piece of wood behind it so the monitor wont wiggle as much. Im getting a new monitor for my main...

Hanns.G, Ihardly knew ye

 

Purchased in August 2009; upper backlight has apparently died today, March 20th 2011. Based on other reviews, I'm not holding out much hope for a positive resolution from the manufacturer; here's hoping that I'm wrong. I should've bought the Asus... ...

Amazing color depth for the money

Godawful internal speakers, no HDMI, backlight tubes burn out WAY too soon

It was the cheapest 22" on the internet at time of purchase and it had free shipping....

This was an awesome buy back in 1/28/2009. It was less than $200 with free delivery. It is still going strong today

Solid Monitor - worth every penny!

 

Wasn't sure of this brand at first since I never purchased it before. Glad I went with the mostly positive reviews as I've had this monitor for over 2 years with no dead pixels or issues.

Bright sharp colors. Looks nice. Solid build

None really. Maybe more swivel options? No complaints

Good deal

 

Good price. No bad pixels even after more than two years. Mounts nicely to a wall or arm using standardized VESA mounts. Decent on-screen menu. Color presets as well as RGB controls

Color is not very stable. Most people have probably have thought about the accuracy of the colors on their monitor. If you're going to design artwork for printing or sharing broadly, you have have a color calibrated monitor. This one can be calibrated...

Great display ... speakers, not so much.

 

Nice, big, bright display at an incredible price. No stuck pixels

What is up with the speakers? With the input cranked and the volume cranked, it's *audible*... but nowhere close to intelligible. It sounds like everyone in this episode of 30 Rock is mumbling---like the speakers are filled with packing material or...
