Seemed great for everything I would want or expect out of a monitor

It broke way too soon, possibly because of it's on vulnerable design, not sure. It was working fine until one day my nephew decided to clean the screen with one of those mist-spray water bottles. Next thing I know, the monitor only showed pink stripes....

A Good Monitor

 

I have it setup next to a monitor which has 100 M:1 ACM, and it's really easy to tell the difference. Get a monitor with 100 M:1 ACM.

Not Compatible with Wii U Control Pad

Worked for 23 months

 

My Acer X233H monitor has been going strong since 2008 as my primary. I had the Acer G235H as my primary and the X233H as my secondary. Looks like I'm back to the X233H as my primary and the G235H will be going in the trash soon.

Very nice looking display

The monitor powers on and shows the desktop for 1 second before going black. The power button still stays on... Just no display... Worked solid for 23 months. . Kinda bummed

Still going strong.

 

I just wish I could buy another one! Sucks its discontinued.

Bought this back in 2012 and it's still working great. Just took it right out of box and plugged it in no problem

Wish websites displayed better on widescreen monitors. Sometimes boxes and text overlap. Great monitor however.

Beautiful Affordable Monitors

 

If you are looking for a great monitor for a great price, then look no further. All 4 monitors that I purchased are perfect resolution, clarity, color, and most of all NO DOA AND NO DEAD PIXELS!!! Excellent job ACER. :)

1 pixel dead no biggie, though after carefully looking at the area where the pixel is, there seems to be a thumb print... So if someone who packaged this was a little more careful I would have a flawless screen... I blame Acer. Not Newegg. Oh Well......

Excellent Monitor!

 

Been using the monitor for about 2 months now and it does everything I need. Works great, looks good, and I don't believe there's a better monitor for the money!
