Had the same model for 6 years, only needed a new one because the lock had broken. It goes in dishwasher for cleaning .

Not good value I have got a smaller George Foreman much better than the G.F 12205 very disappointed. I've all ready given it away used it twice.

Eadsy to use tell you when temp reached. Can set at any temp you want

Slow in warming up takes about 10 m9inutes to warm up to 200. Do not cook very well near front edge. Other wise good machine.

The grilling plates are very easy to remove for washing. Digital temperature control is helpful when cooking different foods.

When making toasties- The hottest temperature of 215 C does not seem to toast the bread very brown before the cheese has melted. It's better to use thicker sliced bread.

The fact that the plates can be removed for cleaning

None. I had one before I bought this one and used it often. I wouldn't have replaced it with any other grill.
