The speakers were easy to set up for sound

The speaker wires are permanently attached to the speakers ; the front speaker wires were too short (have them mounted in the upper corner of the 9ft ceiling with another run of about 3ft - had to splice wire onto the end to have enough

I bought this product because it had the audio inputs I needed: one digital optical, one composite (ok, would have prefered two), one USB.

After almost a month studying the product I regret I bought it. The sound is not so powerful as it was supposed to be (come on, JVC, are you serious about the 1000 watts output?). I cant almost hear the rear speakers! Only after I bought it I noticed...

HDMI connection and DVD upconversion, five disc DVD, good surround sound, receiver and DVD are the same unit (one less remote). Priced nearly the same as a standalone upconversion DVD player after the hefty rebate. Great 720p picture on HD TV
