Other people have said it doesnt last mine works great wish i would of bought more as presents

Does just about anything

You will wont to hand wash the attachments do not put in dishawasher!

Love this blender

 

This is a powerful unit with a few attachments. I bought it for use in soap-making and have had very good success with it. I have no problems with splashing as long as I keep it vertical. I got it in sale for a good price. The unit feels very solid.

This sometimes heats up a bit, but it doesn't seem to be a major concern.

Horrible Durability

 

I'm now waiting on Delonghi to get back to me on replacing the piece that broke. We'll see how great their customer service is.

Easy to use.

Advertised as "variable speed" it has only one speed. Broke after only 4 uses.

Worked great twice, then broke

 

If it didn't break almost immediately, this would be a good solid appliance that I would use for years. Maybe you'll get lucky and get a good one.

This unit has a powerful high-speed motor, detachable blade units for safer and easier cleaning, lots of accessories, and a staggered three-blade arrangement which reduces cavitation and improves mixing. Fewer "dead spots" in the mix than with a...

The biggest con is that it stopped working within two months of purchase. It just came to a dead stop while blending some fruit, and hasn't worked since. I contacted DeLonghi about this, but got no response, and it seems I'm not the only one who has...

Plenty of power for most jobs requiring a hand blender, with lots of attachments. Great value ONLY if you get it during a sale.

NOT "variable speed with turbo," as Newegg states, but only single speed with turbo. Instructions label the power button as a "speed 1" button. Can use it as a pulse button, though. No slow speed, however.

Great quality, versatile and useful

 

I would highly recommend this item! It is a total workhorse and makes quick work of things that would otherwise take much, much longer. I use the blender blades to make fresh made grapefruit juice. I just peel the grapefruits, throw them in a pitcher...

Powerful motor, blade design makes very quick work of blending and potato masher attachment couldn't work more perfectly!

Whisk attachment if used carefully can be great for some applications such as whipping up eggs. The step-down coupler, however, doesn't quite reduce the speed enough to be practical for other applications such as mixing recipes containing powdered...

came broken

 

it came out of the box making a strange rattling sound, looking inside with a flashlight, i noticed something which looked plastic floating around inside. I don't know if I got a return or something, but I just packed it back up & sent it back.
