i was informed by Tom Tom when i telephoned them that this model definitely had romanian language loaded, but it did not so therefore proved useless

Very Clear Directions. Menu system is the best I have used. Good design fits into a coat pocket easy. I like the lane guideance for the motorways ect makes it so easy to get your car into the right lane.

The mount to hold it on the windscreen is built into the body and detracts from the overall look. Slightly more expencive than other makes.

If you ignore the routing the unit recalculates quickly.

I used the unit in France with the default English voice. The pronunciation of the street names was bizarre and often completely unintelligible.

It is very simple to set up. It works straight out of the box. Maps and directions are very clear. Lane positioning is useful when you don't know the area.

Battery life is not great but if you have it in a car it is easy to plug it into a power source and it remembers where you were when it lost power.

It doesn't work straight out of the box! When new it does NOT pick up a satellite signal, Tom Tom are aware of this and their response is to spend 3 hours patching it to make it work! If I purchased a computer/TV or car and had to do the same it would...

Clear directions. Used a garmin before, which is now a few years old, this is so much better. Nice size and loads of extras.

Easy set up, easy operation, good sized screen, the improved instructions at major road junctions are a great improvement.

Comes without additional storage so download space for new maps is limited - (8gb micro SD cost me £8)
