The Instruction manual states: "Note: When charging the battery for the very first time, you should charge it for at least 8 hours with your Mio turned off." So they should provide a mains charger in the box.

picks up the satalite and locks a signal within seconds and the spoken road names is much better than just stating distance. When I first registered I downloaded the very latest maps for free, safety camera alerts have saved me once already.

You can't zoom into the map as I'm use to when driving, but I'm use to a tomtom for several years so it's prob just something to get use to. I think in hindsight I should have got the model with the larger screen.

Because of poor design cannot attach to the windscreen
