Panasonic TX-65EX750

An intriguing, if slightly strange, addition to 2017's 4K TV selection. Panasonic TX-65EX750.

Good HDR pictures using the Dynamic preset ; Easy to use smart system ; Very low input lag

Weak audio ; Strange colour inconsistency with most presets ; Not very bright for a premium HDR LCD TV

The Panasonic TX-65EX750 requires a pretty non-standard set up to get the best out of it, but its new backlight technology is unique and effective. This is potentially catnip to AV fans looking for a good 65-inch TV for under £2000.

Panasonic TX-58EX750

The biggest recent news from Panasonic might be the launch of a new range of OLED TVs, but there's plenty of new LCD TV action for those whose pockets aren't deep enough to buy into the OLED dream.

Panasonic EX750 review: the TX-58EX750B might be the best 4K LED LCD TV for gamers

Panasonic's designer TX-58EX750 boasts great UHD visuals and, with the World Cup looming, is a sterling choice for gamers and sports fans

Stylish design with adjustable stand ; Enviably low image lag ; Great motion handling

Distinctly mid-range HDR performance ; Convoluted and complicated picture adjustments

Panasonic TX-50EX750B review

Can the Panasonic TV with the adjustable stand deliver?

Natural, balanced and consistent SDR images ; Great 1080p detail ; Excellent motion processing ; HDR is bright and colourful with the right settings

Some backlight clouding ; Images lack punch and dynamism compared to some rivals ; Could offer more subtlety and nuance ; Interface isn’t particularly slick

A good value 4K HDR offering from Panasonic, but you only need to spend a little more to get something really special

Panasonic 65EX750 television review

Panasonic tries to crack the LCD backlight conundrum

Impressively even backlighting ; Attractive and flexible design ; Friendly smart system ; Very responsive for gaming

Lack of HDR brightness ; Some odd colour issues ; Limited picture setting flexibility ; Slightly feeble sound

While you have to be careful how you set it up, and while it would ideally go brighter with high dynamic range content, the 65EX750’s backlight uniformity is impressive enough to potentially win the hearts of the many serious AV fans who can’t afford a...

Panasonic TX-50EX750 review

A set with a couple of tricks up its sleeve

Excellent black levels ; Intuitive Smart OS ; Game-mode included

Adjustable stand not that adjustable ; No Dolby Vision

As Panasonic iterates on its best selling television line from last year, we’re quickly learning that there’s a lot of life yet in LCD panel technology. Blacks are darker and richer than ever, and colors are richer and more vibrant. It might not be...

Panasonic EX750 TV review: Dimming tech that most LCD sets can only dream of bettering

The new backlight system deployed in the EX750 delivers a genuine step forward in LCD light control. However, there are some colour and contrast

Gives you a lot of picture for your buck ; Attractive and subtle design ; Smart system is strong ; Looks great with both HDR and SDR content and (after careful setup)

Sound is rather feeble ; HDR isn’t as dynamic or punchy as that of some rival TVs ; Some strange colour issues (when using all but one of the picture presets)

Panasonic is to be congratulated for continuing to innovate in the LCD world despite its increasing focus on OLED technology. The new backlight system deployed in the EX750 delivers a genuine step forward in LCD light control that hopefully Panasonic...

Panasonic TX-58EX700B review

  (Note Verdeckt)

A mammoth 58-inch screen is the Panasonic TX-58EX700B's most obvious feature, but this smart TV also offers 4K ultra-HD resolution, High Dynamic Range support and Freeview Play. It's a great combination on paper, but read on to see how well the...
