Newegg needs to pull this product.

This product shipped quickly

I had my first unit only a week when it would no longer power on. Newegg was great with the RMA, the second unit stopped working a few weeks ago, now it will only play about 5 minutes then it goes berzerk

Absolute JUNK

 

A wonderful example of how RCA has lost all its market share.

Price, good 1080 upconversion while it lasted, good sound output.... while it lasted

Returned 1st unit after it stopped working in just a few days (freeze-up, picture alignment failures....4-5 DVDs played). New replacement unit failed after 2 DVDs (same symptoms and no sound this time). It's just not worth the gas to return it any more

Broken USB

 

I'm going to return it soon, and I won't be asking for a replacement.

Very nice looking, when I first took it out of the box I was really excited by how sleek it is

I've had it for 3 days and the USB plug is already broken. The player also freezes on startup sometimes and can only be fixed by unplugging it

The only pro about this player was that it was shipped to me quick and thats it

I received this player last night and it already broke. The usb in the front broke the second time I used it

Not so great, but not so bad either

 

This DVD player feels really cheap (well, i guess it's what i paid). When you take it out of the box you have a feeling that you got only the shell of the real product. I think it weighs less than standard 5.25" computer CD/DVD unit. Mine broke after 3...

Picture on TV is nice, remote comes with batteries, USB port in the front, HDMI connector

The disc tray feels extremely fragile. If you have kids, i don't think the tray will last long time ; There is a certain delay between input from the remote and reaction on the player. It's just long enough to be noticed and gets kindof annoying after...

good, cheap HDMI DVD player

 

If DTS is a big deal to you, then don't get this player. I find it odd that you have to spend $80 on an HD upconversion DVD player to get DTS support, but a cheapo $30 progressive scan player can support it.

HDMI Upconversion looks phenominal compared to my old Samsung Progressive Scan player on a Panasonic CRT Tube 32" HD set. Sleek aesthetics, plenty of options. Supports 1080p

No DTS support. Very fragile drive tray

Good budget player with cool features

 

Well worth xx bucks!

For a budget DVD player this works very well. The upconversion is more than acceptable and the USB port make watching downloaded videos a breeze. NO MORE BURNING DVD's

Xvid support. Cheap plastic DVD tray will only last so long. Takes longer than normal to boot up

A decent budget player

 

Overall, I am satisfied with this player considering how much I paid for it. It has played everything I have thrown at it and the DivX/Xvid playback quality is excellent from DVD/CD or through the USB port. The menu also shows quite a few characters...

DivX Ultra playback; USB port; plays WMV, AVI, MPEG VOB etc. files; very good sound quality; has both optical and coaxial digital audio outputs

USB only reads FAT formatted hard drives; USB port won't power a 2.5" hard drive, a separate power supply is required; there are no picture adjustments in the player's menu for contrast, brightness, hue etc.; remote is a little on the small side

thought rca would be better

 

I bought the rca upconvert player to go with a new HD tv setup, at first the movies looked great then about 30days after owning it adn maybe 15 hours of play the player started locking up and putting bars on the screen it wouldn't answer anything on...

Terrible Product

 

We never could get this to work. We went to exchange it at Sears and they were out and did not know if they would get any more. We got our money back and will look for another product.
