Excellent PVR, lots of great features (e.g. record 2 channels at once), plenty of memory (over 100 hours of programmes), and a very useful USB port (for transferring recordings to a PC, and adding new software, features etc.)

Default on screen programme guide is a little lacking in sophistication, but you can add user-created software (go to toppy.org.uk) for much better ones, with lots of additional features

Self contained - no removable tapes & discs is a big plus. Dual recorders to allow recording two programs at the same time is excellent. Options to record are good and easy to use. Being able to download updated software, via a computer, is a huge...

This recorder offers so many options that it takes a while to become proficient with the controls, especially when in a hurry. It is easy to select the wrong button. There is some incorrect programming where the "No" must be selected in order to delete...

A bit pricey and this is our second machine. Apparently being virtually a computer they have some problems.

i think this machine is fab!!! had no problems whatso ever with this product does exactly what it says and a very good price and better all round that sky!!

Technically Excellent and easy to setup and use. USB port very valuable

Does the job straight from the box with added advantage of many software patches that can customise any desired changes.

If you are a bit of a techie, plenty of operational extras (TAPS)

existing software that comes with PVR is not 100% reliable ...best to revert back to older software

We have not owned it long enough to form an opinion but do like being able to record two programmes at once, which is why I bought it.

The "blue light" on the front being continually on

Quiet, solidly built, large hard drive, easy to use, adaptable, reliable.

Has occasionally missed the odd recording.
