Picture & sound good. Timer progamming quite good when understood

Instructions difficult to understand and set up complicated. Only recpords from channel set up on TV.

No mute button. Only one recording head. When recording, you can't watch another Digital Station. Difficult to obtain and retain the VHS recorder - it changes back to DVD or SD. Very poorly illuminated screen on front of Recorder. Poor scrolling...

I am not very good with the new technology - but this machine is easy to install, easy to use, and when I try something new I can follow the instructions easily. It is good that it automatically memorises new programmes as they become available....

It is very noisy, particularly when recording dvd. I would like to know if this is normal.

No need to have two separate units. It takes RAM DVDs so it can pause live tv, very handy when your parents call!

The clock is in a really strange place and is fun trying to change it for the first time! That is the only flaw I would say it has. I really like this unit.

You can record DVDs and videos from the TV. It plays CDs as well.

The instruction manual doesn't explain the basic need for a digibox if you want to watch a different programme while recording another - unlike my old video which allowed you to do both. I had to contact the manufacturer to find out. Also, the...
