Best Dvd player I have ever bought

no way to put a title to a recording

It`s good to be able to record without any video tapes all over the place, or haveing to look through tapes you already have to find a blank one

I found it hard to get to grips with editing progs with adverts in like keeping ads and deleteing the progs instead

excellent product for the price paid

The LITEON LVW5045 DVDR works a dream

A little bit noisy when powered

large hard drive, timeslip and quite easy to use

recording from analogue signal picture can be very reddish if signal is a little weak. I lost everything recorded when a glitch occured and finally the recorder started jumping into the program we were watching all by itself so I sent it back.

Performs well, nonoe of the problems which one reads about on the 'net, with out of sync speech etc., and gives an excellent picure on standard play - undetectable from the original broadcast.

Not easy to understand the manual, and not a pretty looking machine - it looks a bit 'clunky' until you get used to it, compared with the new generation of slim DVD players.

Excellent facilities on the machine.

1)Doesn't record to disc. 2)98% of the time when rewinding, when you press play it goes back to the point you started from. Very annoying. 3)Freezes up quite frequently. 4)One time it froze, I got it back on and a lot of films and music had just erased...

Esay to set up. Good Manual. Big Hard Disk.

The remote control does not always work the first time or the command entered registers and then flicks back to the screen you were on.

The ability to recall files without having to scan is quite remarkable

editing is not positive, it would be nice to have been able to backspace frame by frame
