Attractive real-wood frame; nice-looking display; motion sensor automatically turns frame on and off.

Slow downloads; most transition effects do not operate smoothly; very small remote control; only a 90-day warranty.

In spite of some performance issues, the Smartparts SPX12 is a good-looking digital picture frame that for the most part lives up to its claim of making it easy to transfer photos from a memory card to the frame with almost no effort.

Most picture frames I have seen are small. This one is very easy to see. It is also easy to use.

Very nice product!

 

We purchased this digital frame for our parents. We wanted one large enough to see the photos well. We also wanted one that was easy to use. After loading the photos; which was easy to do, you simply plug it in and turn it on. Works very nicely!

Forth i decided randomly this smartparts spx12 the seller was saying that it has good performance. i has 256MB of memory. so, i am able to display almost all the photos of my computer. but one thing i would like to say that it should have more memory...

Four thumbscrews on the back--oddly, Smartparts doesn't offer alternative frames, though you could conceivably make your own. In the middle of the back of the display there's a rotating disk that lets you wall mount the frame vertically or...
