spare batteries are a stupid price

just point and go .No panic when the cd card is full.The hard drve takes over as yet have only used it four times but all seems o.k. and simple to use

Cost of buying a spare battery, although I think you can buy cheaper non Panasonic batteries that will fit the camera.
