Kogan Full HD 1080p Video Camera

It's not every day that a high-def camcorder comes along for under $1000 — or even $1500 for that matter. But less than $500? That's completely ...

369! $369! $369! $369! $369! (Did we mention it's $369?)

Terrible optical zoom, below average audio, poor low-light performance

Kogan has made a career out of undercutting big-name vendors with cheap hardware, but the Full HD 1080p Video Camera really takes the biscuit. Despite a cavalcade of flaws, it remains insanely good value for money. A full HD camcorder for under $400?...

Kogan Full HD 1080p Video Camcorder Camera

Kogan's camcorder talks a big talk at a low asking price. Although it doesn't deliver to the same standards as its competitors, it does offer an interesting choice for very entry level videographers.

Very inexpensive ; Light carrying weight ; Very easy to get to grips with menus

Outputs as MOV files only ; Video quality is only average ; Build quality is pretty cheap

Conclusion That AU$399 price point dangles over any consideration of the Kogan Camcorder. Not just because of the low impact on your wallet, but also because of what it's reasonable to expect at this price point. Ultimately, what you're getting for...

Kogan Full HD 1080p Camcorder KGNDVCVA

Users who want an affordable camcorder that shoots in Full HD should consider Kogan's video camcorder. Sure it has limited functions, but what do you expect for something that is worth less than $500?

Price tag; 1080p shooting mode; Comes with 8GB SDHC card

Cheap plastic build; Performance not that great; Problems with focus and lighting

Kogan Full HD 1080p Video Camcorder Camera

Bought a Stash V1 HD camera online for $135. Works wonderfully well.

Good playback on TV. Easy to use

Feels cheap and light. Digital zoom only. Imprecise Controls

Kogan Full HD 1080p Video Camcorder Camera

bought this camera from china. pretty delighted. all the cons does not affect me:

much cheaper than branded 1080p, good video quality

for good video quality, light is needed (outdoors). in indoors quality degrades, noise when zooming in/out, external battery charger

Kogan Full HD 1080p Video Camcorder Camera

dominator123, it isn't the same camera. The KMart one has no stabilization or 1080p mode. I bought and returned one of those...

Didn't test - but it is cheap

Didn't test but if like the KMart one, it will be the lack of configuration (you can't even adjust the volume when you playback a video on the camera) and the cheap feel of the buttons and the lack of design of the menus and UI

Kogan Full HD 1080p Video Camcorder Camera

Its very cheap for the asking price $400, but i got one for $200 AUD from Kmart Exactly the SAME!

quality is a lot better than some known brands, (samsung Vp mx20) and its very easy to use, just hit the record button and enjoy!, it can withstand severe drops and its not as lose and laggy as cnet reviewers say ; if i was you, i wouldn't hesitate on...

you cannot charge the battery and use the camera at the same time, as it features an external charger ; zooming creates noise which is audible ; only 5x optical zoom

Wow! Kogan is a 100% Australian owned brand. About time we had a half decent electronic company... haha
