Haunt Review

The Kinect has had its highs and its lows and a whole lot in between. Each time I get the opportunity to review a Kinect game, I have no small amount of trepidation. I'm always afraid that I'm going...

Cute and humorous ; Point and Click sensibility ; Almost perfect gesture controls

Deflect gesture is spotty ; Where was the marketing, Microsoft

and a whole lot in between. Each time I get the opportunity to review a Kinect game, I have no small amount of trepidation. I’m always afraid that I’m going to find yet another game with inconsistent gesture detection standing in the way of my...

Haunt Review

A lighthearted story and smart Kinect integration make Haunt a captivating all-ages adventure.

Makes mostly good use of Kinect ; Campy horror storyline with a great sense of innocence and fun ; Colorful, cartoony mansion setting and ghosts ; First-rate voice acting

Controls are occasionally awkward and unresponsive

Despite the use of the Kinect technology, Haunt feels like a game from ages past. There is an innocence here that you used to get with the likes of Atari's Haunted House or Sega's Ghost House. That pure sense of fun, plus the reasonable 800-point...

Haunt

Après le plus ou moins convaincant Rise of Nightmares qui nous avait été présenté par Sega en septembre dernier, Kinect est une nouvelle fois mis à contribution afin de faire frissonner les amateurs d'horreur avec Haunt, disponible en téléchargement...

Haunt- Xbox 360

Within three or so hours you're likely to be done, but what remains is a lasting warm glow - not just from rare muscle usage but also the satisfaction of a Kinect game that capably and effortlessly takes advantage of the technology. Kids will obviously...

Haunt- Xbox 360

Schafer brings a touch of warmth to a game that's otherwise defined by cold pragmatism - an adventure too rigorously shaped by the limitations of the device it's built for. Haunt's failings aren't hard to understand, but that doesn't make them any...

Haunt- Xbox 360

There is an innocence here that you used to get with the likes of Atari's Haunted House or Sega's Ghost House. That pure sense of fun, plus the reasonable 800-point price, overcomes any issues with the occasionally wonky controls and makes this a...

Kundenmeinung von: Dave Rudden (gamepositive.com)

Haunt- Xbox 360

The game's arguably a bit short, and some of the ghost encounters are marred by attack prompts that aren't always recognized. But if you have the patience (and the health reserves) to endure a few irritating battles, you'll find Haunt worth the visit.

Haunt- Xbox 360

There's no getting away from the fact that Haunt is a slight experience, but it's also very charming and a game that is carefully crafted to work with both the Kinect controller and its intended young audience. Not a game you'll keep coming back to,...
