Meet the Robinsons

Popcorny movie-game season is upon us (already?!) and Disney does a fine job of front-loading the shelves with Meet the Robinsons, typically derivative, mostly-hopless schlock that's going to sell well to the kiddies because it shuts them up.

Sad but true, videogames based on movies are rarely more than merchandising cash grabs. Sadder still when it's a kiddie-movie-based game, because parents who buy the things rarely care about or understand what the heck goes on in a game; just knowing...

Meet The Robinsons

Trouble's a-brewin' in both the present and the future. Only one pointy-haired hero can save the day.

It's a fun, kid-friendly Zelda clone; breaking down items to earn unlockables is fun

The action is relatively bland; no multiplayer Chargeball; the music gets annoying

Meet the Robinsons

Disney finally stops belittling children, frustrates them instead

Witty script and fun characters ; Tons to explore, unlock ; Doesn't belittle your intelligence

Lousy lock-on mechanic ; Horrible Protecto-Sphere controls ; Battles get cumbersome

The first thing I have to say is that I'm a devout Resident Evil fan. The series is just so fun and engaging.

great graphics, eerie atmosphere, engaging story, lots of fun

can't play with easily scared people, controls are still a little weird, but easily learned

'It'll Sound Scarier If We Add An X'

One of the greatest miscarrages of justice took place about a year and a half ago, when Capcom announced plans to release a Dreamcast-only Resident Evil title. That grave injustice was, however, immediately righted with the PS2 release of Resident Evil...

It's Resident Evil... In full 3D. Free Devil May Cry demo. Scary

but less so than the others. Controls have changed... needlessly

X Marks The Spot

Well, well. Just when you thought the zombies were down for the count, the people at CAPCOM raise the dead once again...this time on the PS2. Originally from the SEGA DREAMCAST, RE: CODE VERONICA X is basically the same game only with approximately 10...

Graphics & camera movement, story, length

some clunky controls
