I used this on a Nikon D600 with an f4 200mm lens and found the images too soft. I got just as good if not better results by cropping and interpolating in Photoshop

I use this with my 300mm prime to give me just that bit more, especially with wildlife - brilliant. Although the 300 is heavy and you don't notice the addition of the teleconvertor. Probably the best compromise of the Nikon Teleconvertors available...

like a lot of photographers, I\'m looking to cut down on carrying everything including the kitchen sink. this lens takes up very little space but it packs a punch. Its the first thing into the holdall. Should have bought it years ago.
