The Garmin nüvi 1490LMT adds lifetime map updates to the nuvi 1490T (which already includes lifetime traffic). All this in a package with a 5” wide screen and multi-destination routing, features not found on any of the nuvi 12xx or 13xx models.

Lifetime maps is defiantly something to look for when your choosing models. Spend the few extra dollars now and you will be very glad you did later.

I purchased this model, after finding my newer GPS(2555LMT)lacked some of the features of the older models. In particular, older models support user defined routes better than the Nuvi 2555 series. This was of interest to me, as I am planning my trip...

Like new works great

This item works great and does everything they said it would do. I love the fact that I don't have to wear my bluetooth when driving when using my Garmin!

Can't ask for better. Does what it's supposed to and is easy to use. I've read other reviews that claim it is not as easy as a TomTom, so why not buy another TomTom.
