Comes with no AC adapter, and no batteries. I suggest either 6x AA batteries, or an AC adapter (Official: Brother model #AD24, DC9V 1.6A) (UnOfficial, but printed on the PT1880 itself: DC 7-9V 6W which would mean 1A should be good enough)
