The build qaulity and styling of the product,very classy.the ease of recording from either the onboard vcr to dvd or vice versa as well as recoding from external sources as well vcr / freeview / connectivety was qiute good offering 2 scarts / component...

The VCR though fairly good does not play my tapes as well as my existing VCR ,REGARDLESS IF THERE MY OWN RECORDINGS or TAPES I HAVE PURCHASED .Also you can make a chapter section on disc from a external recording ,but am unable to make this selection...

I found it extremely easy to set up to do simple things like recording and playing back. Plenty of options available if and when you are ready to use them

Easy to get unwelcome results by playing with options you don't quite understand - so the message is keep it simple.

FAR FAR TOO MANY BUTTONS ON THE REMOTE! PROBABLY NEVER USE THEM ALL
