No battery, but then you do not have to worry about keeping a battery charged

I am running 4 computers on my network with an Alltell UM175 modem. We are in the boonies about 4 miles from the tower thru trees and I get 400kbs average with peaks to over a 1000kbs which what I was getting before installing the router.

I had to move a few times to figure out where the best cell reception was. This is more of a biproduct of the modem than the router - router gives good information from the administration page as to how good the cell connection is.
