As a Team Lead in the Data Matching and Analysis team you are responsible for creating new ways of looking at our vast database of reviews and product information

You will build and extend full stack solutions, from Opinion mining and Sentiment analysis, with ETL and event-driven dataflows, all the way RESTstyle APIs for accessing the data, generative grammars for producing natural language summaries and visually rich HTML5 presentations

What you deliver will be shown on our high-traffic customer facing websites, helping consumers pick the best product for their need. It will also be delivered to our B2B clients as Market Intelligence, helping them make the best business decisions about improving their products

Responsibilities & Skills

• A solid understanding of SQL, Python, UNIX systems
• ETL, Data Warehousing, Data Mining, Machine learning, Event-driven and asynchronous architecture
• A bachelors degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent
• 5+ years work experience
• Creative and efficient problem solver
• Leadership skills
• Excellent English skills. Our company language is English. Swedish language skills are not required
• You must be authorized to work in Sweden

We are looking for Software Engineers to our Stockholm based teams.
We offer a truly international work environment with 10 different languages currently spoken and our working language is English. The Stockholm office is situated in the middle of the tech startup area by St Eriksplan, on the top floor with a big roof terrace.

The alaTest solutions collect, analyze and distribute massive amounts of rich data. We employ statistical analysis of review data, data linkage for matching between products and reviews, natural language processing, data and opinion mining for extracting the wealth of information our users has come to expect. For data delivery, we have a heterogeneous platform using open source software and a combination of battle-hardened solutions like MySQL and Solr as well as modern asynchronous web technologies like Tornado/Cyclone.

We are working with agile techniques including Kanban and continuous improvement in order to make sure that the products we develop reach the market as fast as possible while maintaining the quality excellence we need.

Requirements

• A solid understanding of Python or Java
• Strong experience with SQL, database design and performance optimization
• A BSc degree in Computer Science or mathematics. MSc or PhD is a plus
• 5+ years professional experience
• Proficient in data structures and algorithms
• Experience of some of the following techniques is a plus: ETL, Data Warehousing, Solr/ElasticSearch, Data Mining, Dimensional Modeling, Reporting Tools, ORM, SQLAlchemy, Natural Language Processing, Statistics, Correlation Methods, REST APIs

We are now looking for a "Customer Integration Specialist" in Stockholm.

You will be working with the Technology and Sales Teams, where the focus will be on technical investigation and problem-solving around client issues.

The goal is to ensure key clients’ success and satisfaction. To this end, we need to have a hands-on investigator on board. The person should feel comfortable looking at code, querying data and spotting errors in the data set. We expect the candidate to have the ability to communicate their findings to non-technically savvy stakeholders and also to provide process support to optimise delivery. Tools to remedy would include relevant process documentation, simple code and efficient scripts to automate the underlying processes.

The candidate will be structured, detail-oriented and analytical while at the same possess excellent interpersonal skills. It will be required to communicate graciously with all levels of the organization, both internally as well as with our clients. Thus, apart from strong technical aptitude, communication skills are essential for a rounded profile in the Client Success Team.
